The South Metro Slowpitch Softball League welcomes all levels of participants from 5th through 12th grade. There are six cities that make up the South Metro League:  Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Inver Grove Heights, Prior Lake and Rosemount.  It is first and foremost a fun league where friends can sign up together, play together and have a great time playing softball. 

Throughout the season, players will improve upon their skills, practice good sportsmanship & teamwork and build new friendships. Some players and teams will be very competitive. However, the main focus is on having fun.

The skill level of the players varies from inexperienced to experienced. In the beginning of the season, the players will practice two days a week. During the season, games will be played on those same days.  The season typically consists of 13-14 games.

The coaches work with the players to teach the fundamentals of the game and improve the overall play. The players in this league choose to play, because they enjoy it and stay in it for many years!

Cost: $5 per clinic
Location: Savage Sports Dome, 13450 Dakota Ave, Savage, MN
Date/Time: Sundays, 4:00-6:00pm (Jan 7 - Mar 17)

When arriving, check in at the registration table in the front lobby. Be sure to indicate BAC Slowpitch Softball at the registration table. Clinics will be located on the field in the very back of the dome. 

Squirts: 

Cost: $125
Grades: 3-4
Games will be played on Tuesdays starting mid-May. A fun instructional division for young girls learning to play the game of softball. Players range from first time beginners to players with a year or two of previous softball experience. Practices will start Late April with single games starting in May and lead to double headers in June. Practice days are determined by the team head coach. 

Intermediates: 

Cost: $125
Grades: 5-7
Games will be played Thursdays starting mid-May with double headers starting beginning of June. Players pitch as they continue to refine their skills while learning multiple positions in the field. Umpires are used to call all games.  All Intermediate teams will participate in the South Metro League Mid-Season Tournament and the Season Championship Tournament.

Seniors: 

Cost: $125
Grades: 8-12
Games will be played Mondays starting mid-May with double headers starting beginning of June. Players pitch as they continue to refine their skills and concentrate on 1 or 2 positions.  Umpires are used to call all games. All Senior teams will participate in the South Metro League Mid-Season Tournament and the Season Championship Tournament.
